My name is Jørgen Vester Jørgensen. I have worked as a developer/consultant/project manager in the IT consultancy company Danadata A/S and in Merkantildata A/S, which is now Ementor A/S.
I have also worked four years as a developer in the company RelationMonitor A/S which provides high quality HR analysis on the Internet and which has carried out several studies internationally for large Danish companies. Furthermore, I have worked for IT-Forum Development as system developer, system architect and project manager responsible for solutions primarily developed in ASP.Net and C#.NET.
I have carried out several development projects for both private and public companies and organizations.
Even though the tasks have been very different, the technology has always been Microsoft technology. The majority of my assignments have been webbased solutions.
Today, I primarily use Microsoft.NET.
On top of that, I have taken part in courses in object-oriented programming and object-oriented system development as part of the subject software construction at Århus University. At the university, Java is used as programming language.

I have ten years substantial experience in carrying out all phases of development projects. I believe and it is my experience that the most important conditions for a successful project is:

• An understanding of the client's business / organization. An understanding of the environment in which the software will be used is a prerequisite for a quality solution
• A good and equal co-operation with emphasis on mutual trust.
• Specialist competence and professionalism. This includes planning in connection with time, finances and resources

About me before IT

I have a past as a professional freelance musician (I have played in The Aarhus Symphony Orchestra) and teacher. I also have a university degree in music. Today, I have left the music behind in favour of the IT business.
